First assumption was the plane might be going down because of the failure of machinic between Malaysia and Vietnam. Search teams were pouring in from both Malaysia and Vietnam. And nothing could be found nor any glue of it.

The crying relative hoping their love ones to come home |
The worst part came when the Malaysian Prime Minister announced that the MH370 has gone down into Indian Ocean and there were no survivors. It was done without any debris proof nor any evidence. The relatives are supposed to believe that? I wouldn't. It hurt the hope the relative are clinging to.
The last piece of thing which can be a hint is the ping signal from the "so called" black-box. Recently the signal has been moving from one place to another and no one has found the box. The signal is indeed from the black-box or from anything else from the ocean, no one knows as well. And the battery life is believed to last only about 30 days. And it's 30 days already.
I am not the relative of any of the victims, to be honest, I am still having a feeling of hope that the plane is landed somewhere and passengers are still alive. I am sure the relative of those on board would feel the same if there is no debris nor whatsoever concrete proofs are given.
Hope and prey for them all that they are still alive somewhere and doing great...
